Keyboard shortcuts | Mouse shortcuts | Status bar shortcuts

AVSnap has a set of keyboard shortcuts that allow you to increase the speed of projects development and save time. Below is a list of main supported shortcuts with descriptions. Consult user guide for detailed explanation of each function.

Keyboard shortcuts

Shortcut	Name	Description
1	Grid/Line size	Toggle through grid and lines size.
2	Line style	Toggle through line/cable styles.
3	Line color	Toggle through line/cable colors.
4	Line width	Toggle through line/cable width.
5	Object fill color	Toggle through fill colors.
6	Degree of rotation	Toggle through rotate angles.
7	Corner rounding	Toggle through round corners values.
-	Zoom out	Zoom screen out (also you can use mouse wheel).
+	Zoom in	Zoom screen in (also you can use mouse wheel).
,	Directional arrows	Add/remove the connector arrow on the beginning of the cable.
.	Directional arrows	Add/remove the connector arrow on the end of the cable.
A	Add libraries	Add libraries.
B	Format object	Format selected object(s).
C	Cable draw mode	Select to draw cable lines.
D	Default formatting	Change default properties of selected object.
E	Libraries visible toggle	Show/hide bar with libraries.
F	Fit page	Set zoom to fit page.
G	Grid visible toggle	Show/hide grid.
H	Horizontal text alignment	Toggle through horizontal text alignment for selected object(s).
I	Insert picture	Insert new image (.BMP or .JPG file).
J	Add object/symbol description to active object	Insert description for selected symbol.
K	Cable Properties	Show properties of selected cable.
L	Line draw mode	Select to draw lines.
M	Materials list	Show materials list.
N	New page	Add new page (Design mode only).
O	Circle draw mode	Select to draw Circle/oval.
P	Page properties	Show page properties window.
Q	Include/exclude object from materials list	Include/exclude selected symbol(s) from materials list.
R	Rectangle draw mode	Select to draw rectangles.
S	Snap point mode (Lib mode)	Select to add snap points (Library mode only).
S	Snap point visible toggle (Design mode)	Show/hide snap points (Design mode only).
T	Text properties	Show text properties window for selected object(s).
U	Lock/Unlock	Lock/Unlock selected object(s). When object is locked you cannot move, rotate or delete it.
V	Vertical text alignment	Toggle through vertical text alignment for selected object(s).
W	Page link jump	Open the page linked to selected object (if defined).
Y	List of cables	Show list of cables.
Z	Undo	Undo operation.
[	Send to back	Send selected object(s) to the background.
]	Bring to front	Send selected object(s) to the foreground.
\	Select library view filter	Toggle through the library filter view.
Shift	Move snap points temporarily to the back	Moves snap points back only when it is pressed, and restores them back to front when it is released (Library mode only).
Delete	Delete	Delete selected object(s).
Arrow keys	Move object	Move selected object(s).
Space	Rotate object CW	Rotate selected object(s) clockwise.
Space + Shift	Rotate object CCW	Rotate selected object(s) counterclockwise.
Ctrl + "A"	Select all	Select all objects.

Mouse shortcuts

Shortcut	Name	Description
Double click on cable	Add bend	Add additional bend point on the connector line.
Double click on object	Properties	Display the properties for selected object.
Right click on object	Context menu	Display the context menu for selected object.

Status bar shortcuts

Status bar displays various information about current state of the program:

Section	Name	Description
X	X position	Displays the current X position of mouse cursor (0 it is the origin's position).
Y	Y position	Displays the current Y position of mouse cursor (0 it is the origin's position).
1	Grid/Line size	Displays the current grid/line size of active page, you can click on this section or use "1" key to toggle through grid/lines size values.
2	Line style	Displays the current line/cable style for selected object or default line/cable style (if no objects selected), you can click on this section or use "2" key to toggle through line styles.
3	Line color	Displays the current line/cable color for selected object or default line/cable color (if no objects selected), you can click on this section or use "3" key to toggle through line/cable colors.
4	Line width	Displays the current line/cable width for selected object or default line/cable width (if no objects selected), you can click on this section or use "4" key to toggle through line/cable width.
5	Object fill color	Displays the current fill color for selected object or default fill color (if no objects selected), you can click on this section or use "5" key to toggle through fill colors.
6	Degree of rotation	Displays the current degree of rotation of objects, you can click on this section or use "6" key to toggle through rotate angles.
7	Corner rounding value	Displays the current value of corner rounding for selected object or default value of corner rounding (if no objects selected), you can click on this section or use "7" key to toggle through round corners values.
U	Lock/unlock state	Displays the current lock/unlock state of selected object, you can click on this section or use "U" key to Lock/Unlock selected object(s).
Q	Include/exclude object from materials list	Displays if selected object is included in materials list or not, you can click on this section or use "Q" key to include/exclude selected object(s) from materials list.
W	Page link	Displays the page link for selected object, you can click on this section or use "W" key to open linked page.
\	Library view filter	Displays the current library view filter (the type of symbols that AVSnap shows in library bar), you can click on this section or use "\" key to toggle through the library filter view.
