How to password protect a project

Create a new project or open a project that needs to be protected.

Click on File, follow the drop-down menu, and click on Set Password

The Password form allows you to set a new password and also to set expiration date. Once the expiration date is reached the project will be locked and user will not able to view the project. Once project is locked, it is not possible to open it by changing system date. The only way to view it is to enter the original password.

Enter password and click ok.

The project is now in set to read-only mode. The pages marked "Hidden" will not be visible and all tool bars will be disabled.

To disable password, just enter old password and leave the new password field empty. Save the file to remember new setting.
