AVSnap has many areas where printing can be done. Each printing dialog allows you to select printer and adjust printer settings. The most extensive printing capabilities are provided for printing graphical pages.
The shortcut for printing dialog is "Ctrl P". You can also click on the printer icon for faster access. Right clicking on the printer icon selects printer properties.
Before printing, select printer from the main drop down window and click on "Set Margins to Printer". This will make sure that page margins defined by your specific printer are taken into account when project is printed. Without setting these margin AVSnap assumes that you can print form edge to edge.
Select "Fit to Page" if you drawing is larger than the paper you are using. If "Fit to Page" is not selected, the image will be aligned to the top left corner of the page and printed as is.
AVSnap provides transparency function, that allows objects to be transparent. To print transparent objects, select "Convert to bitmap before printing"
Leave resolution at default setting. If printing quality need to be improved, set resolution to 20 pix /mm. Setting very high resolution will make printing very slow.
Print library
This function allow you to print libraries in a booklet format for easy reference during design. Right click on the Library Preview Pane and select "Print Library".
Set desired Page Margins and click on Print. Library is printed in 3x4 format with 12 symbols per page. If you are using double sided printing, make sure to set left and right margins to the same size.
